There's much to do here in order to help those in need. Take your time, look around at all the volunteer opportunities, click the button below to go to our donations needs page, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
Set up is at about 1:30pm. A quick message 10-15 minutes is given at about 2 pm. Serving the meal starts at about 2:15pm with to-go boxes/bags being created at about 2:30pm to 2:45pm. Clean up starts at about 3:00pm to 3:15pm.
We are looking for people who can make a monthly commitment of a couple of hours to help prepare, serve, and/or clean up after a meal that will feed about 30-35 homeless individuals.
Help by preparing the food to serve our homeless friends at the Brook. Be sure to please provide enough food for 60-70 people (for the meal and the To-Go boxes/bags).
Ex: Pizza, Chicken with Rice/Potatoes, Tacos, Lasagna, etc.
Ex: Rice, Mashed Potatoes, Salads, Vegetables, Fruit, etc.
Ex: Cakes, Pies, Jello, etc.
Ex: Water, Ice, Gatorade, Sodas, Juices, etc.
Help set up the room and food to serve our homeless friends at the Brook.
Light cleaning, setting up tables, chairs, food, clothes, etc.
Serve our friends with kindness and generosity,
Sit with our friends and share the Good News of the Word.
Help prepare To-Go boxes/bags, clean up, and break down the room after service.
Fill To-Go Boxes. Prep To-Go Bags. Distribute same.
Wipe down tables, throw away trash, sweep, mop, etc.
Break down all tables and chairs. Bag up left over clothes.
We love our volunteers, so feel free to visit any Sunday beginning at 1:30pm until 3:30pm.
